Description
Pair of exquisite French bronze statues made and signed by famed French artist Emile Bruchon (1806-1895). Entitled “Faneuse” and “Faucheur” meaning “tedder” and “reaper” in reference to the rake and scythe the pair of farmers hold in their hands. From the end of the 19th century, both figurines are in excellent condition with a lovely patina. Both are about 17″ tall x 7″ wide.
