Gorgeous late 1800’s heavy black slate cased mantle clock made by “Brocot & Delettrez” in Paris, France. The suspension spring adjustment is marked L. Brocot for clockmaker Louis Achille Brocot who invented the suspension spring adjustment by a key turned in the dial. The case and movement are both in excellent condition and were cleaned and serviced by the previous owner. 16 1/2″ wide x 16 1/4″ tall with a winding key included.
