Description
Extremely rare and intricate pair of Victorian blown glass ships sailing on a sea of spun glass. Made sometime during the last half of the 19th century, the body of the vessels are made of looping and interwoven strands of blue, yellow, and white. Both the base and large glass dome appear to be all original and in great condition. The ships themselves do have a couple spots of minor damage, but it is difficult to tell without close inspection. This historic piece definitely cannot be shipped safely, so this lot is pickup or local delivery only. 12″ wide x 14 1/2″ tall.
